Ravens coach John Harbaugh successfully challenged a call in the third quarter, using his replay challenge to get the officials to cut 19 yards off a pass to Browns rookie running back Duke Johnson.
Harbaugh used another challenge on the next play and won again.
The first replay showed that Johnson stepped out of bounds on what still was a first down for the Browns but would have been a 33-yard catch and run. On the second, a pass along the sideline to Brian Hartline was overturned.
The Browns still ended up scoring on the drive on a 10-yard scramble by McCown. The drive covered 75 yards and 13 plays in 6:41 -- about 30 minutes of real time with the challenges.
The Ravens hold a 21-16 lead going to the fourth quarter.
