We think that John Harbaugh will be a great NFL coach, but he’s got a lot to learn. He made that abundantly clear this week, when in an effort to prop up his offensive coordinator he riled up his next opponent. Harbaugh hired former Dolphins coach Cam Cameron, who was fired after generating a 1-15 record in his only year on the job, to run the Ravens offense. ''He was an effective coach down in Miami last year, even though the results weren’t what people were hoping for,’' Harbaugh said in a radio interview. “He did a great job there with what he had to work with.’' The reaction in the Dolphins locker room has been good for Miami, bad for the Ravens. ''With what he had to work with? That’s the key, huh?’' defensive captain Vonnie Holliday said. “What did we have to work with as players? I think you look at it, and it’s clear this year we have a direction. We have a plan in place. And that’s largely attributed to Coach Parcells and Coach Sparano.” Receiver Greg Camarillo called it a “personal blow.” Running back Ronnie Brown vowed to “show them” what he can do. Amazingly, the only guy who exercised restraint was linebacker Joey Porter, whose typical temperament might cause him to become offended when someone tells him “bless you” after he sneezes. (“Bless me? What do you mean, bless me? Bless you, mutherf--ker.”) Porter’s response this time was surprisingly different. “You’re looking for me to get mad about that?’' Porter said. “Not going to happen.’' Notwithstanding Porter’s reaction, we’re suddenly intrigued by Sunday’s meeting between a couple of 2-3 teams.
