Jets quarterback Brett Favre completed the first eight passes he threw in Nashville, leading his team to an early 7-0 lead. New York’s pass-heavy game plan could spark a shootout. Especially if the Jets’ stout run defense forces the Titans to take to the air as well. One of the running plays came out of the Wildcat formation, with Brad Smith taking the snap and Brett Favre split wide to the left. Favre actually assumed a three-point stance before the play, and then shrugged off a jam from cornerback Cortland Finnegan as the action went to the other side of the field.
