It was a year ago today that IK Enemkpali broke Jets quarterback Geno Smith’s jaw with a punch thrown during a heated moment in the team’s locker room.

Smith has spent some time reminiscing about the punch in the days leading up to the anniversary. Enemkpali marked it a different way during Bills practice on Thursday evening.

According to multiple reports from Bills practice, Enemkpali got into a tussle with one of his current teammates. Tackle Cyrus Kouandjio was the subject of Enemkpali’s ire this time, although Enemkpali didn’t connect with the same force that he did at this time last year.

The Bills saw wide receiver Dez Lewis and safety Aaron Williams leave what was billed as a non-contact practice after a collision earlier in the evening and Williams is being evaluated for a concussion. Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reports the team brought the practice to an end about 25 minutes earlier than scheduled.
