We’ve got a few injury odds and ends to update you on. I’m still waiting for Florio to give me a “Victory Monday.”

1. The Bucs confirmed Gerald McCoy will miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle. This is a huge blow for a mediocre 4-4 team that doesn’t do anything particularly well.

The defensive line was Tampa’s strongest asset.

2. Saints coach Sean Payton said Monday that X-rays were negative on cornerback Tracy Porter. He’s dealing with soreness in his chest and upper back, but early signs sound good for Porter after his scary injury Sunday.

3. Broncos cornerback Chris Harris is just fine after this embarrassing moment.
