With all eyes back on Indy for the second time in less than a month, Colts owner Jim Irsay continues to “keep it in house” regarding Peyton Manning by “putting it on Twitter.”
Irsay’s latest Peyton-related post goes a little something like this: “Not sure why some speculate that Peyton n I haven’t met in person recently..we’ve met in person n communicated frequently n last week or so.”
The broader question is whether Irsay and Peyton have met to discuss his contract, and his future with the team. And there’s still no evidence that has happened, on Irsay’s cryptic at times, illegible at others Twitter account or elsewhere.
So unless Irsay is willing to say that he and Peyton have met to discuss his contract and/or his future with the team, it doesn’t matter whether and to what extent they’re communicating on other topics.
