Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt has never missed a game due to injury. But he might miss Sunday’s game due to illness.
The Texans announced today that Watt is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars because of an illness. Watt was not listed on the official injury report yesterday, so this illness must have come on within the last 24 hours.
Watt is the Texans’ best player, and losing him -- or having him at less than 100 percent -- would be a major blow to Houston’s defense. Watt has four sacks this season; the rest of the Texans’ defense combined has just two.
Watt’s availability will likely be determined by how well he feels in pregame.
