While one member of the 2015 Cowboys defensive line was making headlines with his mouth on Monday, another one was re-signing with the team.
Jack Crawford posted a picture of himself signing a deal to return to Dallas on Instagram. There were multiple reports earlier in the day that he was close to a one year deal.
Crawford played in all 16 games as a reserve in the defensive line rotation last year and picked up 21 tackles and four sacks. He joined the Cowboys in 2014 after two seasons with the Raiders, who picked him in the fifth round of the 2012 draft.
The Cowboys added Cedric Thornton and Benson Mayowa to the defensive line group that also brings back DeMarcus Lawrence, Tyrone Crawford, Terrell McClain and, after a four-game suspension, Randy Gregory. Greg Hardy doesn’t appear to have any chance of rejoining them and the Cowboys could add another piece to with the fourth pick in the draft.
