The Cardinals will be playing their starters this week.
After rookie Carson Beck was the first quarterback up for last week’s Hall of Fame Game, head coach Mike LaFleur told reporters on Tuesday that it will be Jacoby Brissett and company taking on the Raiders on Thursday night.
“They’re going to play, so we’ll have our guys out there,” LaFleur said. “How much? It’s not going to be much. It could be one drive, max of two for those main guys. But they’ll be playing, and they know that.”
It will also be the first chance for running back Jeremiyah Love, the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft, to get some preseason playing time.
The Cardinals and Raiders are slated for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff on Thursday.
