The Jaguars have spent most of their offseason fixing their defense (as they needed to), but they’ve brought in some veteran depth on the other side.
According to a tweet from his agent Andy Simms, veteran offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach is signing a one-year deal with the Jaguars.
He started last year with the Dolphins, but was let go late in the season and brought in by the Chargers. He spent his first four years with the Colts (starting every game in 2011), and did a turn with the Chiefs as well.
He gives the Jaguars some depth at guard and tackle, which they can use as they take a look at some options up front. They brought in free agent tackle Kelvin Beachum this offseason, and declined the 2017 option on former No. 2 overall pick Luke Joeckel.
