The Jaguars are re-signing a former first-round pick.
The club has reached a two-year deal with defensive end Tyson Alualu, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday.
Alualu’s agent, Kenny Zuckerman, confirmed that a deal had been reached to PFT.
The Jaguars’ top pick in 2010, the 27-year-old Alualu notched 30 tackles and two sacks in 16 games in a reserve role last season. He’s racked up 195 tackles and 13 sacks in his five NFL seasons.
Alualu (6-3, 295) was PFT’s 53rd-ranked free agent.
