The Jaguars are getting a key player back on the practice field.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen is coming off the physically unable to perform list on Thursday.
Van Lanen suffered a knee injury in Week 18 of last season. The veteran appeared in 16 games with 10 starts for Jacksonville last year.
In all, Van Lanen has played 51 games with 13 starts since entering the league as a sixth-round pick in 2021.
Jacksonville also traded for offensive lineman Daniel Faalele earlier this week, acquiring him from the Giants.
The Jaguars will host a preseason matchup with the Panthers on Friday night.
