The Jaguars are going for their first win of the year today, a task made easier with the absence of Titans quarterback Jake Locker.

Locker injured his right thumb last week against the Browns, and wasn’t able to practice this week.

That leaves the Titans in the hands of Clipboard Jesus, Charlie Whitehurst. He threw a pair of quick touchdowns last week in relief of Locker, but then the Titans got conservative and blew a 25-point lead.

The 0-5 Jaguars are happy to take whatever help they can get.
