With the Pro Bowl being played in the stadium in which Dolphins tackle Jake Long plays his home games, the prospects of playing in the Pro Bowl aren’t all that appealing to Long.
And so it’s not surprising that Long has pulled out of the Pro Bowl, due to an injury.
His spot will be filled by Jets tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson.
It’s Ferguson’s first Pro Bowl berth; he joins center Nick Mangold, guard Alan Faneca, and cornerback Darrelle Revis on the AFC Pro Bowl squad.
