Jason Taylor is ready to call it quits.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that Taylor will play the final game of his 15-year career on Sunday when the Dolphins take on the Jets.
A third-round draft pick of the Dolphins in 1997, Taylor’s first stint in Miami lasted 11 seasons, before he left for one year with the Redskins in 2008. In 2009 he returned to the Dolphins for another season, then played one year with the Jets in 2010 before returning to the Dolphins again this year.
The 37-year-old Taylor has been chosen to six Pro Bowls and recorded 139.5 sacks. He was the 2006 Defensive Player of the Year.
