Jim Brown “fell in love” with Donald Trump

The President-Elect has become as polarizing as any American citizen in decades. Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown has decided that he likes Donald Trump.

“I fell in love with him because he really talks about helping African-American, black people and that’s why I’m here,” Brown told CNN regarding his meeting with Trump on Tuesday, via fox8.com. “When he goes through what he went through to become the president, he got my admiration. No one gave him a chance.”

Trump had little or no traction with African-American voters. Brown sees the situation as bigger than race.

“When I come out of the box, I don’t come out of the box as racial,” Brown said. “I look for good people and people that will be like-minded and help me try to do good for other human beings.”

In little more than a month, Trump will get a chance to do that. Whatever the outcome, millions will be watching -- and the debate surely will continue as to whether he’s actually doing good things for all Americans.
