Giants head coach John Harbaugh said on Friday night that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has done enough this summer to make an NFL roster and he was asked a more specific question on Saturday.
Harbaugh was asked in a videoconference if Beckham has done enough to make the Giants roster. Harbaugh declined to say whether that is the case.
“We’ll have to see throughout the weekend if he does make the roster,” Harbaugh said, via SNY. “We’re working through that right now. We have a pretty good idea in all honesty, but we’re not ready to make that announcement or any other announcement as far as making the team at this point.”
A report on Saturday indicated that Darius Slayton is not a lock to make the Giants’ 53-man roster. If he is out, it would likely mean that Beckham is in for Harbaugh’s first season with the team.
