The Titans have re-signed a few of their own players on Friday to go with new arrival Brian Orakpo and they’re still looking for more ways to bolster their roster.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the team is hosting guard John Jerry and cornerback Perrish Cox on Friday. Cox’s visit was scheduled earlier this week, but he made stops in Washington and Cleveland so it wasn’t sure to happen until he left both of those visits without agreeing to a deal.

Jerry started all 16 games for the Giants last season and was one of the reasons why the team failed to create an effective rushing attack. The Titans started Andy Levitre and Chance Warmack at guard last season and may be looking for someone to push Levitre after two injury-plagued years in Tennessee. Jerry has also seen some time at right tackle during his career and that’s a an open spot for the Titans after Michael Oher was released.

Cox could start across from Jason McCourty if he signs with the Titans as neither Blidi Wreh-Wilson nor Coty Sensabaugh grabbed a firm hold on the job last season.
