Washington tight end Jordan Reed isn’t going to finish this game, but it’s not because of the shoulder injury which has been bothering him.

Reed was just ejected for throwing a punch that connected with the helmet of Panthers safety Kurt Coleman.

That’s dumb for a lot of reasons, beginning with the fact a man who makes a living with his hands just intentionally threw one of them at an armored surface.

Reed and Coleman were tangled up previously, and after the initial pleasantries, Reed squared up like a boxer and threw a punch with his right hand.

But it was also damaging for stalling the momentum his team was trying to build to come back from a 23-9 deficit with their playoff lives on the line.
