KIFFIN CONTINUES TO PUT PRESSURE ON HIMSELF IN KNOXVILLE

Sure, we’ll admit that we actively are looking for ways to create overlap between PFT and CFT. But when a former NFL coach who was fired amid a haze of controversy is now creating controversy in his first offseason at a college program, and when another former NFL coach owns land in the vicinity of said college program, where he once worked and where his wife was a cheerleader, and where said other former NFL coach is actively learning the spread offense, we’re not necessarily jamming a square peg into a round hole. Anyway, former Raiders coach Lane Kiffin continues to have a rough week at the University of Tennessee. And, unless Kiffin hits the ground sprinting when the 2009 season starts, Volunteers fans could launch a movement to draft former Bucs (and Raiders) coach Jon Gruden.
