It will come a day late, but Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still is still getting a pretty good Father’s Day gift this year.

Still’s daughter Leah will be getting out of the hospital on Monday after she had to return for medical attention due to a complication from a stem cell transplant she received as part of her cancer treatment. The Stills celebrated the news with a video posted to Devon’s Instagram account.

Leah will still undergo further treatments to ensure continued progress in a fight that her father called motivation last week.

“The question is, how hasn’t she motivated me,” Still said, via ESPN.com. “You watch these kids fight for their life and they keep a smile on their face. They never give up. They’re resilient. And if you ever watch that -- like I’ve watched that for a year -- it changes everything about you. It lets you know that you have to make the most of every opportunity that you have. I have an opportunity right now to make this Bengals team and I’m going to try to do it.”

Still will get back to work on his bid to make the team in six weeks at training camp.
