The Lions have added one free agent wide receiver in Marvin Jones and they’ll be meeting with another one in Detroit on Friday.
Mike Klis of KUSA reports that Jordan Norwood will visit with the team. Norwood visited the Jets on Thursday and Klis reports that the Broncos remain interested in bringing him back.
Norwood joined the Broncos before the 2014 season, but wound up missing the entire year after tearing his ACL. He returned to action last season and caught 22 passes for 207 yards in 11 appearances. He also returned six punts during the regular season and set a Super Bowl record with a 61-yard return against the Panthers in February.
Jones and Golden Tate head up the receiver group with the Lions with T.J. Jones and Corey Fuller due back with the team. Norwood would mix into that reserve group and could move Tate out of his punt return role if he signs with the Lions.
