Malcolm Jenkins returns to practice

Safety Malcolm Jenkins didn’t practice with the rest of the Eagles on Wednesday because of a concussion, but coach Chip Kelly didn’t express much concern that his absence would extend to this Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.

Kelly’s feeling appears to be on the money. Jenkins was back on the field on Thursday and Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that he was participating fully during the portion of practice open to the media.

Jenkins had a shaky game against the Cowboys last weekend, particularly when covering Cole Beasley out of the slot, but he’s had a strong season overall.

Berman adds that safety Jerome Couplin and guard Josh Andrews were the only players out of practice for Philly on Thursday. That means linebacker DeMeco Ryans and left tackle Jason Peters are both working after missing last Sunday.
