Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham was added to the injury report with a shoulder injury Friday, but told NFL Network’s Bob Papa that he expects to play against the Eagles.
“I’m good to go,” Manningham said.
The second-year pro is a key part of New York’s four-pronged wide receiver attack that also includes Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, and Domenik Hixon.
The Giants have got away from their bread and butter running game in short-yardage situations in recent weeks; we suspect they will try to attack Philadelphia on the ground more even with Manningham likely to be available.
