Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey told reporters there’s a “100 percent” chance he’ll play Sunday vs. the Cowboys despite a thumb injury.

Pouncey did not practice Thursday for the second straight day, but he said that’s been part of the plan and that he’ll have no issue snapping with the injured right thumb. Pouncey plans to return to practice on Friday.

Pouncey twice left last week’s game due to the injury and had surgery on Monday, but he said the protective wrap and splint he’s been wearing is just to protect the stitches.

Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams (knee) and wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot) again did not participate in practice Thursday.
