Najee Harris: I’m just tired of this shit

The Steelers lost 13-10 in Cleveland on Sunday and the team’s offense was once again the prime culprit in defeat.

Pittsburgh was shut out in the first half of the game and they picked up just nine yards on two fourth quarter possessions after tying the game 10-10 on a field goal. Frustration with the unit’s performance was clear from running back Najee Harris when he spoke to reporters in the locker room after the game.

Harris said he feels there are “some situations” when it feels like the offense is too predictable and opposing defenses have a read on what’s coming. He also hinted at deeper issues behind the poor performances on the field.

“There’s just a lot of stuff that just goes around that you guys don’t see . . . I’m just at a point, where I’m just tired of this shit,” Harris said, via Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Harris was asked if he thinks everyone on the Steelers has a team-first attitude.

“Do I think everybody is team-first on this team? I’d rather not talk about them, I’ll just talk about me and my performance,” Harris said.

The Steelers are 6-4, so they remain very much a part of the race for playoff spots in the AFC. Harris’ comments suggest that changes are needed if that’s going to remain the case.
