NBC, CBS, NFL Network, Twitter divvy up Thursday Night Football

Twitter

The NFL has released the full list of games on the 2016 Thursday Night Football schedule -- a schedule that also includes two Saturday games and two Sunday games, one in the morning in London and one at night on Christmas.

This year, CBS and NBC will air five Thursday night games apiece, and both CBS and NBC will simulcast their games on NFL Network and Twitter. NFL Network will also air four Thursday night games that will not be simulcast, plus the two Saturday and Sunday games that are considered part of the “Thursday” package.

It’s all a bit confusing, with Saturday and Sunday games that are considered part of the Thursday package, and the split between CBS and NBC, with the NFL Network and Twitter simulcasts. And the Thursday Night package does not include the opening Thursday (Panthers-Broncos on NBC) or the three Thanksgiving games. But it’s the NFL on TV. You’ll find a way to watch.

The CBS Thursday night games are:

Week Two: Jets at Bills
Week Three: Texans at Patriots
Week Five: Cardinals at 49ers
Week Six: Broncos at Chargers
Week 7: Bears at Packers

The NBC Thursday night games are:

Week 11: Saints at Panthers
Week 13: Cowboys at Vikings
Week 14: Raiders at Chiefs
Week 15: Rams at Seahawks
Week 16: Giants at Eagles

The NFL Network games are:

Week Four: Dolphins at Bengals
Week Seven: Giants at Rams (Sunday morning)
Week Eight: Jaguars at Titans
Week Nine: Falcons at Buccaneers
Week 10: Browns at Ravens
Week 15: Dolphins at Jets (Saturday)
Week 16: Bengals at Texans (Saturday)
Week 16: Ravens at Steelers (Sunday)
