With the full preseason slate starting in three days, Xfinity customers can stop worrying about not having access to NFL Network.
Comcast and Disney struck a deal on Monday to return NFLN and NFL RedZone to the package.
“We’re pleased to have reached an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to bring NFL Network to our customers in time for the start of the preseason games and to offer NFL RedZone Channel at the beginning of the regular season,” Comcast said in a statement.
That’s very good news for football fans, and it always seemed like the start of the season would be the real deadline for getting something done.
NFL Network exited Xfinity on May 1, a month after Disney/ESPN took control of it.
Both sides worked out their differences, and the customers will have the ability to consume the NFL-labeled channel and the popular whiparound view of Sunday afternoon games.
