New Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. started and played four snaps in his 2026 debut. He alone was not enough to stop the Texans.
Houston welcomed back Nico Collins, who missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, and he torched Dallas on the first drive.
The Texans’ first play was a 45-yard completion to Collins to the Dallas 40. He ended the drive with a 7-yard touchdown catch, with DaRon Bland lined up on him.
The Texans went 85 yards in eight plays, scoring first-possession points for the first time this season.
The Cowboys now get their opportunity on offense.
