The showdown at the Superdome between the Giants and Saints will go off without any surprise inactive players.
No names you wouldn’t expect to see made it onto the lists released by the teams on Sunday morning. For the Giants, cornerback Aaron Ross and defensive lineman Chris Canty remain out with a hamstring and calf injury, respectively. Rookie linebacker Clint Sintim, who made his NFL debut last week, is back on the inactive list as Bryan Kehl returns to the lineup.
For the Saints, kicker Garrett Hartley is inactive despite coming off of suspension this week. That means John Carney will do the booting against his former teammates from New York. Guard Jahiri Evans and cornerback Malcolm Jenkins are both active after missing practice time this week, as is running back Mike Bell after missing the last two Saints games.
