The Packers sat Aaron Rodgers again tonight, giving their starting quarterback another chance to rest.

But they can’t get enough snaps for their backup, as he can’t stay on the field.

Brett Hundley started for Green Bay, but has left with a left ankle injury.

He was having a decent start, completing 5-of-7 passes for 67 yards, including a 31-yarder to Davante Adams before pulling himself out. Rookie Joe Callahan has replaced him in the lineup.

Hundley, like the rest of the Packers, didn’t play in the Hall of Fame Non-Game. But he also missed last week, and by not getting through the first half against the Raiders, isn’t getting the kind of work they’d like him to get in the preseason.
