Packers defensive tackle Warren Brinson missed the first three games of the season with a calf injury and he’s set to miss a lot more action with a new ailment.
Brinson appeared on this week’s injury report with a groin issue in addition to the calf and head coach Matt LaFleur said that it will be the reason for an extended absence from the field.
“Unfortunately I think he’s gonna miss a significant amount of time,” LaFleur said, via Weston Hodkiewicz of the team’s website. “All he did was slip and injuries occur and a lot of times it’s non-contract.”
Brinson was a sixth-round pick last year. He had 13 tackles and a half-sack in 11 appearances as a rookie.
