Wide receiver Bo Melton lost his spot on the Packers’ 53-man roster this week, but he’ll be available for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
Melton re-signed to the Packers’ practice squad after being released late in the week and the Packers announced that he has been elevated on a temporary basis for Week 1.
Melton has appeared in 38 games for the Packers the last three seasons. He has 28 catches for 416 yards and two touchdowns in that action.
The Packers have also elevated linebacker Kristian Welch. He played in eight games and recorded three tackles last season.
