CB Charles Woodson wondered if the Packers’ secondary would have struggled as much as it did if they still had S Anthony Smith on the roster.

Allen drew the ire of Packers assistant coach James Campen and T T.J. Lang at different points during the Vikings victory.

Vikings wide receivers Bernard Berrian and Sidney Rice combined for 11 catches, 145 yards and two touchdowns.

Vikings coach Brad Childress said that RB Adrian Peterson “tweaked his leg” on Matthews’s strip.

Said Vikings QB Brett Favre, “The only thing I can say is, I was about as nervous as I’ve ever been before a game, going into this one.”
