Adam “Pacman” Jones is familiar with the NFL’s disciplinary system.

Jones can expect a fine letter this week -- and possibly a suspension.

The Bengals-Raiders game has been chippy throughout, and on several first-half occasions the officials have thrown flags and spent time after plays breaking up shoving matches and up-close conversations. During one second-quarter incident, Jones and Raiders rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper got tangled up and Jones ended up top of Cooper.

Jones appeared to remove Cooper’s helmet by grabbing his facemask, and before other players and officials could come in Jones grabbed Cooper again -- either by the face or by the ears -- and slammed the back of his head into the helmet.

It’s not pretty.

After the Jones-Cooper incident, more post-play tussles continued through the rest of the first half. The Bengals leading 24-0 only fuels the Raiders’ frustration.
