Parts of the Metrodome roof can be yours for only $4

Metrodome Collapse Football

This interior view of the Metrodome is seen Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, in Minneapolis. Repair work was temporarily halted at the snow-damaged Metrodome because of unsafe conditions four days after the roof collapsed under the weight of snow and ice. The NFL executive vice president said TCF Bank will be the site of next week’s Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears NFL football game despite players concerns about being injured on the frozen field. The Vikings are doing everything they can to get a new stadium, but first they need to get rid of the old one.

Literally.

Via Sporting News, we have learned that visitors to the Metrodome between April and November can tour the facility for a $4 fee. The first 2,000 folks to take the tour get to bring home part of the old roof.

Please don’t miss this once in a lifetime keepsake, commemorating the total collapse of the 2010 Vikings season.
