The New England Patriots had initially intended to host their practices this week on the campus of UC San Diego in preparation for their game with the Chargers on Sunday.

Instead, the Patriots have made a last-minute adjustment to their practice plans.

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Patriots have moved their practices to a different site in the San Diego area that a Patriots official wouldn’t disclose prior to their first practice on Wednesday.

The Patriots had elected to continue on to San Diego following their game in Green Bay on Sunday instead of heading back to New England for a cross-country trip next week. The team had agreed to rent the facilities at UC San Diego before making the switch to a different site.

The Patriots are expected to cover the costs incurred by the university in attempting to accommodate the team.
