Patriots second-round LB Gabe Jacas agrees to terms

Second-round linebacker Gabe Jacas did not report to training camp with his Patriots’ teammates on Friday. Jacas’ holdout was short-lived, however.

He agreed to terms on a four-year, $8.6 million contract on Saturday, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report.

Jacas’ signing will complete the Patriots’ draft class signings.

Jacas underwent arthroscopic surgery on a knee during the offseason, missing all of the team’s offseason work. He will have some catching up to do when he is cleared to practice.

The Patriots traded up in the second round to select Jacas 55th overall. The Illinois product totaled 11 sacks, 13.5 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles last season.
