We expected the Jaguars to be aggressive in free agency filling holes in their defense, and it looks like they are off to a fast start.
Jay Glazer of FOX writes via Twitter that Paul Posluszny will sign with the Jaguars.
He revealed the information while casually answers a reader’s question on “Poz,” so we’re not exactly sure if Glazer is “reporting” this as fact or if he just expects it to happen. Knowing how careful Glazer is with information, we suspect it is the former.
Losing Posluszny would be a big blow to the Bills defense, who already struggles against the run. The move could also signal that Kirk Morrison won’t return to the Jaguars.
UPDATE: Florio has confirmed it’s a done deal. Multiple reports indicate it will be a six-year contract.
