Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane said this week that he doesn’t think Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is very good. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says that shows Lane has a lot to learn.
Asked today about Lane’s comments, Carroll said that if Lane thinks Gronkowski isn’t good, then Lane hasn’t watched enough film.
“Jeremy just hasn’t watched film yet,” Carroll said.
That’s just about the only explanation that would make sense: If you don’t think Gronk is very good, you probably haven’t been paying much attention. Carroll hopes Lane spends plenty of time watching film over the next week -- and hopes Lane keeps his mouth shut.
