Raiders hold Kirk Cousins, Maxx Crosby out of Saturday’s practice due to Friday’s fight

Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive end Maxx Crosby got into a scuffle during practice on Friday and they received some extra time to cool off on Saturday.

Head coach Klint Kubiak told reporters that both players were held out of practice on Saturday because their fight violated team rules. Both players are expected to be back on the field on Monday.

“We have very clear expectations on how we want to practice and how we want to go about our business, and we violated that yesterday,” Kubiak said, via Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com.

With Cousins out of practice, first overall pick Fernando Mendoza got an extended run with the first team offense during team drills.
