There has been very little movement in the restricted free agent market lately and none this year, but the Raiders have broken the seal.
Via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Raiders have signed Packers safety Sean Richardson to an RFA offer sheet.
The Packers will have a chance to match, but would get no compensation if they don’t, since Richardson was an undrafted rookie and the Packers tendered him at the lowest level.
Richardson recovered from neck surgery to become a regular contributor for the Packers down the stretch, so it will be interesting to see if they’re interested in matching any deal.
