Ramon Foster posts that he’ll return to Steelers

RAMON FOSTER ap

Not long after reports began to surface that a deal was close, Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster took to social media Wednesday morning and posted that he’ll be back with the Steelers.

“Let’s make more memories,” Foster wrote on his Instagram page alongside a collage of Steelers-related photos.

Foster, 30, played every snap last season at left guard. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette had reported Tuesday night that the sides were “closing in” on a deal.

The Steelers generally use the start of free agency primarily to sign their own, and on Tuesday they also did a new deal for cornerback William Gay. Offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum is the most notable Steelers player eligible to test the market if he doesn’t get a new deal by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
