The Rams traded for linebacker Bobby Carpenter in April, but the move didn’t pay off. The former first-round pick was demoted in favor of Larry Grant at the outset of training camp, and made an appearance on Saturday’s list of final cuts.

In Dallas, Alex Barron did make the roster.
