The Rams have greater concerns than when Tre Mason might show up for training camp.

At the moment, their concern is Tre Mason, amid growing concerns about his health.

According to Dan Graziano and Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Rams haven’t heard from the troubled running back in seven months.

The Rams put him on the reserve/did not report list last week, after reports that the cops showed up at his house for the fifth time in four months.

“Right now, we’re more concerned with Tre Mason’s well-being than we are his football career,” Rams coach Jeff Fisher said. “We’re going to continue to try to reach him to see where he’s at.”

According to the Palm Beach Post, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that Mason was “admitted for evaluation” last month after officers visited his mother’s residence to find him acting strangely, with cuts to his hands and a broken vase nearby and a hole in the wall.

During that visit, Mason told officers “he was going to call the White House and [and that the deputies] were all going to lose [their] jobs. The report also stated: “As he walked out of the room he also stated the police were responsible for teaching [Al-Qaeda] how to fly planes.”

He also told the cops they didn’t have the authority to enter his home. “He then informed us that he was used to being the entertainment for others,” the report said, “but now we [the deputies] were his entertainment and he clapped for us.”

Mason was also arrested in March on charges of reckless driving, marijuana possession and resisting arrest.

They’ve talked to family members and his agent, but haven’t been able to get a clear answer on where he is or his condition. Former Auburn teammate Greg Robinson had texted back and forth with him at some point this offseason, but Mason has changed numbers multiple times which has made staying in touch difficult.
