Defensive tackle Dominique Easley will sign a one-year deal with the Rams, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.
Easley flew to Los Angeles for a workout with the Rams, and evidently it went well. The Patriots waived Easley last month, and Easley had previously worked out for the Bengals.
The signing of Easley provides the Rams some interior depth after Nick Fairley departed for the Saints via free agency. A first-round pick of the Patriots in 2014, Easley was effective when healthy in New England but missed 10 games over those two seasons due to injury and reportedly had some attitude issues as well.
Easley has three career sacks and one interception.
