Ravens starting cornerback Rashaan Melvin re-entered Saturday night’s game at Pittsburgh late in the first half after being checked for a concussion.
Melvin was injured attempting a second-quarter tackle of Pittsburgh’s Ben Tate. He was flagged for striking Tate in the head/neck area. Melvin was then taken inside to be evaluated, according to NBC’s Michelle Tafoya.
The 25-year-old Melvin became a starter late in the season for Baltimore, which has had a series of injuries to key cornerbacks.
