The Ravens ended last Sunday’s loss to the Raiders without either of their starting offensive tackles and they made a move on Tuesday to insure they’ll have enough healthy bodies on the offensive line for this week’s visit to the Giants.

The team announced that they have signed guard Vladimir Ducasse to the 53-man roster. Ducasse spent the offseason and preseason with the team, but was released when the team made their cuts in early September.

Ducasse made 11 starts for the Bears last season and has also spent time with the Vikings and Jets since entering the league as a Jets second-round pick in 2010. The Ravens moved left guard Alex Lewis to left tackle in place of Ronnie Stanley against Washington and then shifted right guard Marshal Yanda to right tackle when Rick Wagner hurt his thigh, leaving the team short on depth on the interior if John Urschel and Ryan Jensen are pushed into the lineup again.

Cornerback Sheldon Price was placed on injured reserve to open a roster spot. Price suffered a biceps injury during a game he started in place of Shareece Wright.
