Public records show that Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic violence in Scottsdale, Az., in 2014, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reported Wednesday night.

Additional reporting and records found by Graham showed the charges were dropped later in 2014 after Lawson reached a plea deal and entered a diversion program.

Both Lawson and his agent, Jonathan Feinsod, had denied that Lawson was ever involved in such an incident. Both spoke this week after the Buffalo News reported that Lawson was facing a one-game suspension for his involvement in a domestic violence incident.

Despite the plea agreement, Lawson would still be subject to a possible suspension under the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, similar to the one the league handed down to Giants kicker Josh Brown on Wednesday.

If Lawson ends up getting suspended, the Bills will be fined by the league under the league’s rules penalizing teams for having multiple suspensions over the course of a year.
