Report: Cardinals have “zero long-term worry” about Carson Beck’s rib injury

At times with rib injuries, a minor issue can quickly become major after further examination and tests.

But that does not appear to be the case with Arizona’s Carson Beck.

Per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN, the Cardinals have “zero long-term worry” about Beck’s rib injury.

Weinfuss reports Beck suffered the injury on a 4-yard run on third-and-3 in the first quarter. Beck was able to keep playing after securing the first down.

He finished that contest 15-of-19 passing for 188 yards with a touchdown.

While Beck has been able to practice all week, the Cardinals will not play him in tonight’s game against the Raiders.

Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals starters are set to be on the field. Gardner Minshew and Kedon Slovis are also on Arizona’s roster at quarterback.
